SOHN’s debut album Tremors is now available to buy and stream worldwide. Written and recorded towards the end of 2013, the long-awaited record finally announces the Vienna-based artist on an international stage, with recent 4AD Session marking him out as a rare talent.
“I wanted Tremors to feel like fresh air,” says SOHN. “There’s something about the way I was working overnight on the album which found its way into the sound. Every night I worked finished with a cold sunrise and a walk home… and to me that’s what Tremors sounds like.”
"A spellbinding array of haunted, synth-led almost R&B." - The Sunday Times
"Mesmerising, mellow and worthy of your attention." - Shortlist
"Tremors aims to shatter your glass ankles and drop you to your knees in breathless reverence." - The Line of Best Fit (8.5/10 - Album of the Week)
"Striking debut." - Uncut (8/10)
"A record that purges your soul of the mundane, and washes over you like oxygen." - Loud and Quiet (8/10)
"Spine-tingling." - Q ****
"SOHN's essentially written an album's worth of brilliant pop songs." - DIY ****
