Søren Juul - 'Greenpoint (Dungen Remix)
Søren Juul : 'Greenpoint (Dungen Remix)
4th October 2016

Ahead of his European tour beginning this Friday, Danish artist Søren Juul has shared a version of his song ‘Greenpoint’, remixed by Gustav Ejstes and Mattias Glavå from Swedish psych band Dungen.  Listen to the track below in the platform of your choice here, or in the player below.

‘Greenpoint’ is taken from Juul’s new album This Moment. Recently released on 4AD, it was made between the ancient Danish coastal town of Svendborg and the Hollywood Hills, coming after a tumultuous three-year period that he found both invigorating and isolating.  In this period and whilst performing under the Indians moniker, he found himself touring his first album (Somewhere Else) around the world and even relocated to the US for a period, whilst also doing things he couldn’t have imagined himself doing previously like composing for the Copenhagen Philharmonic and scoring a key scene for a major motion picture (The Fault In Our Stars).

Now back home in Denmark and having shed his pseudonym, Søren is full of confidence and reaching greater heights - “There is an extra power behind these songs that seems to stem from a Juul putting more faith in his ability as a songwriter,” (The 405).

Having toured with Beirut, Julia Holter and Perfume Genius as a solo artist, Søren will perform the new album for the first time this October, with Danish musician Freja Loeb and Phosphorescent’s David Torch joining him on bass and drums respectively.  All upcoming dates can be found below.
