D.D Dumbo

Today sees the worldwide release of D.D Dumbo's stunning debut album Utopia Defeated.

Celebrated by Rough Trade as their Album of the Month, the record is an epic, sprawling opus that sprung from the imagination of Castlemaine’s Oliver Hugh Perry and was written and performed almost entirely by him.  Recorded at 4AD’s London Studios, and recorded, engineered and produced by Perry and 4AD’s resident engineer Fabian Prynn, the 10 track album hurdles effortlessly over the expectations set by his intriguing debut EP Tropical Oceans.

The album is available on limited marbled vinyl and CD from the 4AD Store here.
You can buy and stream on all digital platforms here.

The first single released from Utopia Defeated was 'Satan', with the accompanying visual created by Jim Elson.  You can watch the video here, or in the player below.
