M Ward - Signs To 4AD

4AD is delighted to annouce that M Ward has joined the label.
M Ward is one of the finest songwriters (and guitarists) in America, and albums like The Transfiguration Of Vincent and Transistor Radio - released by Merge in the USA and Matador in the UK - already have the status of timeless classics.
His new album is called Post-War, and it will be released on 4th September 2006. It's his finest record so far.
Matt will be touring the UK - with a full band - in August.
