Wolf And Cub have become the first Australian band for a very long time to sign to 4AD.
The young four-piece from Adelaide - Joel Carey, Joel Byrne, Tom Mayhew and Adam Edwards - released their debut EP on the Dot Dash label late last year. The EP caused quite a stir in Australia, and Wolf And Cub quickly found themselves with a burgeoning live following. They have now toured with Queens Of The Stone Age, Hot Hot Heat, Futureheads and Death From Above 1979.
Wolf And Cub's first single for 4AD will be released later this year. The band will visit the UK for the first time in November to play at the 1980 Forward anniversary shows - more details soon.
