Stornoway's Beachcomber's Windowsill was last night named XFM's best British debut album of 2010. Presided over by a panel of esteemed figures, including Peter Hook and John Leckie, the prize perfectly caps what was an incredibly successful last year for the band and signals an extremely promising future ahead.
Chairman of the panel and Head of Music for XFM, Mike Walsh remarked on Beachcomber's Windowsill: “An album of true warmth and sincerity. Our judges were impressed by the honesty and openness of the record and how well it worked as a whole album".
