The National have issued an official statement regarding their re-scheduled London dates:

"We are sad to announce that our O2 Academy Brixton shows this June are being rescheduled. These shows will now take place in May 2021. All previously purchased tickets will be honoured for the new dates, however if you require additional assistance please contact your point of purchase.

1st June 2020 tickets valid for 25th May 2021 

2nd June 2020 tickets valid for 26th May 2021 

Your ticket agent will be in touch. Please stay safe and we’ll see you in May."

Festival appearances have also been announced for Primavera Sound (Barcelona, 2nd June 2021) and Rock in Rio (Lisbon ,19th June 2021).

The band will be releasing a 10-year anniversary triple LP expanded edition of their 2010 album 'High Violet', on 19th June 2020. Originally released 11th May 2010, their critically acclaimed fifth studio album features the now-classics 'Terrible Love', 'Bloodbuzz Ohio', 'England', and perennial show closer 'Vanderlyle Crybaby Geeks.'

In addition to the 10 original album tracks, the package includes a third LP of songs previously unavailable on vinyl, including an alternate version of 'Terrible Love', and bonus tracks 'Wake Up Your Saints' and 'Walk Off'. The vinyl comes in three different versions, Standard (white & purple marbled vinyl), Cherry Tree (white & purple split colour vinyl), and Vinyl Me Please (white & purple splatter vinyl).
