Following on from sold out headline dates in NYC and LA and opening for Emotional Oranges across their North American tour (the latter concluding this week), Tkay Maidza will finally make her way to the UK next month. She headlines a long sold out show at London’s Electrowerkz on 9 December and will be main support for Ashnikko’s sold out dates at the O2 Kentish Town Forum on 7 and 8 December.

'Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3' completes the Zimbabwe-born, Australia-raised artist's highly successful trilogy. The latest EP features the singles ‘Cashmere’, ‘Syrup’ and ‘Kim (ft Yung Baby Tate)’. Produced by long-time collaborator Dan Farber, Last Year Was Weird, Vol. 3 represents the culmination of a 3-year-long, 24 song-strong exploration of Maidza’s own African-Australian experience. Across Vol. 3’s 8 tracks Tkay is fully realising her artistic versatility encompassing everything from pop to trap to R&B.
