Bon Iver : Bon Iver Chosen to Curate Pitchfork Music Festival in Paris
4th July 2011

Bon Iver has teamed up with Pitchfork to help curate a Paris editon of the annual Pitchfork Music Festival, taking place on 28-29th October. The Pitchfork Music Festival Paris marks Pitchfork's first full-fledged festival outside the U.S. and takes place at La Grande Halle de la Villette, a 19th century glass and metal structure that stands in the center of the Parc de la Villette, the city's largest public cultural park. Over the course of the two-day event, more than 20 bands and a multitude of DJs will take over the 5,000-capacity venue.

A dozen acts will play La Grande Halle on Friday 28th October, including a club night that will run until 5 a.m. The following day on 29th October, Bon Iver will headline a bill featuring several artists selected by Justin Vernon in collaboration with Pitchfork.

Confirmed bands in addition to Bon Iver include Jens Lekman, Wild Beasts, Cut Copy, Kathleen Edwards, and Pantha du Prince, with many more to come.

Two-day passes cost € 79,90. Tickets for the festival are on sale now and can be purchased here. Further details, including full lineups and schedules, will be revealed in the coming weeks.
