tUnE-yArDs released their much anticipated second album, W H O K I L L, on 4AD in April. Backed by a wave of critical praise following thrilling performances at SXSW and the memorable video for lead track, 'Bizness', W H O K I L L represented a bold step forward for the band, pulling in new fans across the board. Showcasing a rich sonic palette, the brighter production values displays the sonorous voice of Merrill Garbus and the keen pop sensibility at the heart of the band.

The sheer joie de vivre running through the video for 'Bizness' (below) offered the perfect accomanpiment to the broad splashes of colour that characterised W H O K I L L, and also provided great preview of what fans were to expect when the band played live. And the band were to do that a lot in 2011, touring the world extensively, culminating in sold out shows in London, sharing stages with Yoko Ono in Iceland and featuring on live TV in the US backed by ?uestlove.

Moving into 2012, tUnE-yArDs will return to Europe to play a number of shows, including a headline performance for the NME Awards at Shepherd's Bush Empire in London on 15th February. All dates are listed here.
