Today, U.S. Girls announce new European tour dates taking place in November following a Pitchfork Festival London performance at the Roundhouse alongside Sleater-Kinney, their first London show since 2018. 

The European tour will see the band play Sonic City Festival in Belgium as well as venues in Paris, Cologne and Amsterdam.  The tour is in support of Bless This Mess, the critically acclaimed new album from the experimental pop project of North American multidisciplinary artist Meg Remy.  A full list of tour dates is below with new dates in bold.  Tickets will go on sale at 9am UK on Friday 16th June – for more information head here.  They follow previously announced shows in Canada, and the East and West Coasts of the United States.

Bless This Mess is a dynamic suite of dexterous melodies and a nuanced artistic response to the complexities of motherhood, crafted in tandem with the conception and birth of Remy’s twin boys.  It expands the sonic and thematic palette of U.S. Girls, fusing the muses of funk, mythology, and the radical disorientation of joy into an electric tapestry of anthems, aches, and awakenings.  Bless This Mess features singles: disco masterpiece ‘Tux (Your Body Fills Me, Boo),’ slow jam gem ‘Futures Bet,’ diva-era ballad ‘Bless This Mess,’ and summer synth anthem ‘So Typically Now.’
