Pop surrealist Ariel Pink has announced he will hit the road again with his seven-piece band this summer for a string of shows across the UK, Europe, and North America, including an intimate new London date.
Following a number of previously announced dates in Texas in May, Ariel will hit Barcelona's Primavera Festival before travelling Europe and the UK, which will also feature a one-off special show at Bethnal Green Working Men's Club in London. Tickets for this show will go onsale tomorrow morning (17th April) at 9am UK. The full list of shows, and available ticket links, are below.
Further, having released his seventeen track magnum opus pom pom last year, Ariel has now shared the official video for his demented kiddie tune 'Jell-O', directed by Dan Kapelovitz. Following the triptych of Grant Singer-directed videos ('Put Your Number In My Phone, 'Picture Me Gone', and 'Dayzed Inn Daydreams'), 'Jell-O' is as visually arresting as it is catchy, with the dynamic footage shot in psychedlic hues. It's a fitting tribute to it's co-writer, the late Kim Fowley, to whom the video is dedicated. You can watch on YouTube and see the full list of credits here, or via the player below.
Additionally, Ariel makes an appearance on Alchemist and Oh No's Welcome to Los Santos, going head-to-head with E-40 on the track 'California' which surfaced earlier this week. You can listen to the track here.
