This week sees the long-awaited release of 'Phone Sex' by Blood Diamonds (aka Mike Diamond). Featuring Claire Boucher (aka Grimes), the track was posted online earlier in the summer to a great response.

Earlier today, a second track from the record, 'Ritual', was premiered exclusively DUMMY, describing it as a "a big trance-pop number that smells like summer abandon, or maybe a thousand cartoon ice-cream cones doing the can-can." 'Phone Sex' has been pressed up on a limited transparent pink 12" and is available now in Europe and will be on the shelves in North America as of next tuesday. The track is backed by 'Ritual' and two remixes of the lead track from both Jensen Sportag and Unicorn Kid. Full details of the release can be found here.

The 12" was first sold, however, last weekend at the Pitchfork Festival in Chicago. Those picking it up there (along with those who pre-ordered from the 4AD Store) were given a free signed Blood Diamonds and Grimes photo. You can see it here on the 4AD Tumblr. A handful are left so anyone ordering the record in the next 24 hours stands a chance of getting their hands on one. Blood Diamonds is currently on tour in Canada with Grimes, Skrillex and Diplo. He's also booked to perform at Glasslands in Brooklyn on Friday August 3rd. Tickets are available from here.
