Velvet Negroni : Velvet Negroni Announces North American Tour Dates In Support Of Sudan Archives
20th January 2020

Today, Velvet Negroni announces a run of North American tour dates in February opening for Sudan Archives along the west coast.  The dates follow his arena tour with Tame Impala, which included two night at Madison Square Garden.  KEXP also shares his enrapturing session, capturing songs from his debut LP NEON BROWN, which received major critical praise from both sides of the pond when it was released last year.  Rolling Stone, The FADER, Pigeons & Planes and The Observer among others calling Velvet Negroni a new artist you need to know.

Watch KEXP session.

Raised in an outer suburb of the Twin Cities, Velvet Negroni aka Jeremy Nutzman - a black kid adopted into a white evangelical Christian family - savored the secular pop music he could only hear as a kid during ice skating competitions.  Years later, his refreshingly raw approach to R&B has notched him writing credits for Kanye West and Kid Cudi, plus two features on Bon Iver’s latest GRAMMY-nominated album.  Longtime collaborators Psymun (Future, Young Thug, Juice WRLD, The Weeknd) and Tickle Torture produced NEON BROWN.
