Last night, Big Thief made their Jimmy Kimmel Live! debut.  They gave a magnetic performance of two tracks, ‘Shoulders’ and ‘Forgotten Eyes’ as a web-exclusive.  Both tracks are taken from Two Hands, the second of two albums released by the quartet in 2019 (following U.F.O.F.).  You can watch 'Shoulders' below.

An album “cracked and raw, as boundless and as fragile as the heart,” (SPIN, #1 Album of the 2019), Two Hands received an immense amount of year-end praise, including from Pitchfork, The New Yorker, The Guardian, The Independent and more.  Additionally, the album earned a Grammy nomination, the band’s first, for Best Alternative Music Album.

In conjunction with their Jimmy Kimmel Live! appearance, Big Thief are pleased to announce 2020 North American and European summer tour dates.  They will play many cities not yet visited in support of Two Hands and U.F.O.F.  Big Thief has also partnered with PLUS1 to support forest restoration efforts and defend the rights of immigrants and refugees.  Tickets for the newly-announced European dates go on sale on Thursday, 6th February at 1pm CET whilst the US dates will be on sale from this Friday, 7th February at 10am EST.  A full list of dates can be found below, with new announcements in bold.
