Tune-Yards - sketchy. TV
Tune-Yards : sketchy. TV
8th July 2021

Today, Tune-Yards announce an eclectic new web series, sketchy.tv, based on their critically acclaimed fifth studio album, sketchy.

Directed by Dominic Mercurio, the 4-part series parallels sketchy. in its world of joy grounded by serious undertones.  The series includes exclusive Tune-Yards content and performances from their studio, with each episode released on consecutive Thursdays, concluding on 29th July.  Episode 1 ('hold yourself.') is available now.

Watch Episode 1 ('hold yourself.') here or in the player below.

sketchy.tv Episodes:

Thurs, July 8 - Ep 1 (hold yourself.) - watch here
Thurs, July 15 - Ep 2 (hypnotized) - set reminder here
Thurs, July 22 - Ep 3 (my neighbor)
Thurs, July 29 - Ep 4 (be not afraid)

Tune-Yards fifth studio album, sketchy., balances self-inspection and reflection with bombastic rallying cries, reminiscent of the furious tones of early days Tune-Yards. The result is a colorful and celebratory record with lyrics that cut to the bone.
